andym85
hands down, subs up, port to the side subs forward, and port to the side work equally as well granted this is for the loudest setup Quote i likes me some audio stuff...

Hellbound Train
I wish you luck with this install. I am also working on a project for a ranger. So im browsing the forum for ideas for my enclosure. Mine is an 02 edge supercab with stepside. These trucks can definitely get loud with the right setup so if you have some good 12's you will not be disappointed when finished.

uluahunta808
so moving the placement of the sub and port can affect the spl. is sub up port up a good way. not to thread jack but could you use the same setup in a tacoma? ex. sub forward, port up? liftedranger08
Each truck differs from the way a system will sound. Im doing a ranger project on my ranger with 4 15s and 4000 watts and it will be for daily and few competitions. Port and sub up was the loudest on the meter ive had, but subs and port forward, and subs up and port sideways sounds better on the lows.
