Hard Hitting Song For A Wharfedale System?

Recommended Posts

yea, so i got an old ass system from my dad "Wharfedale Valdus 400SE", 300w total power, assuming the RMS is ~150w then for both channels put together

I've been testing my library of bass songs, and the one that i've found that hits hardest is Shoulder Lean by Yung(Young) Joc, I've gotten the excursion up to about .4 - .45 inches, much more than my old AIWA system that is my default picture

as you can probably already tell, i know these things have less power, but they hit just as hard at less volume, on my AIWA system i would pump the volume to 26/31 volume, and on my new system, 22/31 volume hits just as hard now, and theres more excursion from the 4 subs

but the thing is, I'm afraid of trying to get more excursion out of my system, because 1) their $1000 2) My brother would kill me if he found his speakers were broken and 3) my dad would get pissed, because he has had them for around 10 years

and if anyone could tell me what the Hz is on Shoulder Lean is, then thanks

the thing is you have to play around. songs that are loud in our system may not sound loud in your system and vice-versa.

EXACTLY. and hypnotize is by Young jeezy. Thats prob one of the best songs for bass.
