marquettefan247
Well I am finally upgrading to the big 3 for the cavi and was wondering is it ok to run the battery negative directly to the engine block. The reason I ask is because of how the stock wiring is. IDK how they did it but the pictures will basically show ya what I am dealing with. Nearly got my had stuck getting this one the chassis to the engine block Could I just get a new screw and nut and bolt them both on top or bolt the battery negative to the chassis on top and the chassis to the engine block on the bottom? 1995 Ford Mustang 3.8l V6 5 Speed Plans: 2 12 inch dc Level 4s DC 2.0k Amp KCA 1/0 Power Amplifier Installation Kit 220 Amp Alt XS Power 12V D925 AGM Battery Stinger Volt Gauge Rockford Fosgate RCAs Box built from birch. bigredishott
I have always ran it to chassis and another to engine. I think it would be better to go to chassis rather than block, seeing chassis is ground for everything including the engine. Just my 2 cents.
