Nic Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 so im gonna be starting project accord soon... 94 accord lx sedan... im gonna install a full eclipse system for loud SQ... but i dont know what to do power train wise... im gonna rip the motor out and tranny and have them 100% rebuilt.. now the problem... do i bore the engine over and just go beefy all motor or do i set it up for a power adder... im not out to race this car... just make it sexy... i want some performance but im not looking for a 10second 1/4 mile car.. just want it to get out of its way and sound good... what would you do? AI James Posted September 2, 2009 Report Posted September 2, 2009 throw the f22 in the trash and just get an h22a1 waste of time and money to build an f22 imo i have one with all bolt ones sitting in uncles garage, as soon as i could accord a h22 installed and did it i never even thought twice about having another f22 gain Quote
Nic Posted September 2, 2009 Author Report Posted September 2, 2009 thought about engine swap but since im not gonna be racing this engine is more than enough.... im out for a little more power not alot.... im thinking maybe 30 over on the block new crank,rods,pistons(naturally) and a new cam 3 angle valve port and polish and a exhauts... bump me a little bit and still be reliable.. engine swap will kill budget... i still havent found that money tree yet.. my buddy is pushing me for the turbo but thats 4 grand i can spend elsewhere (the beach sounds like a good place Quote Full eclipse system is next on list.. soon to gut and redo the honda as new project/rolling buissness card i miss the sound of those old school strokers on beast amps
