IH8PunkRok
it seems to me u have an idea in your head that you want these things to play low. most likely the resonant frequency of those 8's is above 40 hz. that is way to high for HT setups now you see a good t-line is built to the specs of the subs. you can increase the length but im not sure on the conequences or benefits. you could just build a box and tune it low and see what happens. t-lines require a lot of info to create and you seem to have none. just food for thought Quote -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

aznboi3644
People use PA speakers with FS in the 40s and 50s all day for HT sub duties down to 20Hz. I would go ahead and try out a 40Hz t-line...if it doesn't play low enough than start adding stuffing. The enclosure should not be that hard to design if you have sketch up. Start with a long trapezoid with the ends the throat and terminus...throat is the bigger end and terminus the smaller. Then start folding it. Or you can just design a stepped taper which is easier
IH8PunkRok
i may be wrong here but arent most HT setups tuned around 20 hz? sometimes even less? aznboi3644
yes usually very low tuning is implemented in HT subwoofer design

aznboi3644
no need for an aero for those subs...3 inch or 4 inch round PVC pipe will work just fine
