so if i ran 3 15s ported would it get louder than 4 15s sealed?

Yes if done correctly, with the right amount of port area, since with ported you get the benifit of the back of the cone moving air as well, so it is almost as if you have double the subs, since you almost have the use of near double the cone area in ported.

yea dude ported is the way to go for sure... i just ripped my subs out and did a simple sealed enclosure for one twelve, and while its decent and def better than no bass at all... IMO once you go ported, you never go back. just the extra spl is worth it compared to slighty better sq of a sealed enclosure.

well ive had 2 of them ported before also had 2 sealed box is about 10 cubes i can put them in so i can do 3 ported or 4 sealed if i do 4 its only buying one more 15 i have all the wood an everything already but truck is coming from cali just moved back to ga from ca also subs would have to face forward either way ported the port would be firing up
