Chris
That amp would be better on a Q. It's slightly overrated. 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR. AlpineGuy87
well the Q and the BL are closely similar... but i mean.. would the Brutus amp still do pretty good job running 1000 @ 1ohm on the BL? cuz i want to get the BL 15" and the amp i'll be getting a GREAT deal on so just wondering if that would be at least get the BL bumping.. and until i can buy a second amp or a better amp.. would this do me just fine for a while...? 06 SCION tC
Chris
Sure. But power acoustik might be cheaper if you just want a temp. AlpineGuy87
well i already am going to be purchasing this amp.. the Hifonics Brutus 1206D.. but i was just making sure I would get a good amount of punch from the BL.. what do you think its percentage of potential power i could get out of a BL using this amp..? like 60% 70% or what..? 06 SCION tC

I'd say that amp pushes around 1000watts RMS at 1ohm, what you get out of that BL will depend on the options if you're getting any extras. A fully loaded BL can handle around 1800 RMS which would be great for a 2006D instead of this one. Otherwise, I'd say go for it. It's a fairly decent amp. 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR.
