i have 6.5 kappas

The mids are weak but i dont have enough power to them.

Ive heard a set off 220 wrms and they were clear and had excellent mid bass, so power is going to be a huge factor for both kappas and RF

I would take them over the Kappas all day.... and if your worried abouyt midbass I can tell you I run the t152s and the t162s for my front stage and you can clearly hear the midbass and vocals 100ft from my truck.

I really like the Kappas. Both are great speakers, Rockfords may be a little more power hungry. The only bad thing I ever hear about Kappas is that their tweeters are too bright, but seeing I'm from NY they are perfect for me :D

Some people could care less about who the genius is that is making the product... They just want to get it cheap and say "derrrr, look at teh pretty lights in muh dash!"

Because audio is a lifestyle not a hobby.
