Jat40 Posted September 12, 2009 Report Posted September 12, 2009 1st post. Being an x-installer myself for 15 years, that wiring job was very bad, and no fuses is a fire waiting to happen. Ever see those vehicles on the side of the road burning, NO FUSES. Anyway, the shops I worked at, well at least some, were more interested in the bottomline, and not so much with the install; get em in - get em out, NEXT. I always tried to treat every customer vehicle as if it was my own. I have worked with installers who were just idiots, and I wouldn't trust sitting in my car let alone holding a screwdriver. I some crazy storys that I could tell. Sounds like your new build will be a successfull venture. Gook Luck.

A Industrial Staple LOL, I just said that cause that is how my retard freind grounded his amp, just shaved back the jacket and stapled the bare wire to the sheetmetal. But you got fucked over, when i did my 1st install FIRST install i used a self tapping screw to a bare metal chassis, not one of the wafer heads, The mid hex head self tappers. So if i know how to do that, why dont they? They are in a service industry...... Thats like going to subway ordering a footlong and you get a 3 inch, or having a contracter build your house and calling it 100% completed after putting up some studs. Sum Bullshit. 98HOEONSIXEZ Posted September 12, 2009 Author Report Posted September 12, 2009 fuck normal people, i was out in my driveway til 2 am, mulitple nights in january when it was 30 degrees out working on my car... on school nights when i was in high school lol cuz they dont have "steve meade" as a father haha, ur sons learning from the best so yeah, i just started reading this rebuild, and i just read 20 pages straight! over the past 4 hours or so lol, so u know my dedication to this build. and if you had an uninterrupted build log, you would have maybe one page so far haha, but now ur back up is in (david), this build should be picking up reeaaal fast, lookin forward to it, im subscribing! good luck! Also sounded like he wanted a throwdown I guess thats what happens when you back somebody into a corner and put the work they did in there face and ask WHY..they keep trying to back up even further (beating around the bush,simply not answering the question at hand) and start throwin out dumb challenges..pretty funny... i thinkAnyways,we pulled up to the airport last night and david was outside smokin a cig,got a little vid of goin to get him,not much at all,might post it,not sure yet. We talked alot on the things at hand.His first few thoughts (car audio related) were Man im not gonna lie,the fiberglass work looks awesome,everything LOOKS really good. So then i turned it on and played it for him,then he said "man your mids and highs are on point dude,they sound everybit as clean as meades,just louder " Which i should be louder cause i have more mids and highs than he does,He did say the hoopty is on a whole nudda level tho that its a good amount louder than mine.(shit i cant even imagine how loud that is,gotta be insane!!) Then i told him my rear doors werent even playing,and come to find out my passenger side kick wasnt playin either,so after we get it all hooked up right,that should get it a little bit louder. Davids cool as hell,real good guy.He should be workin on it already this morning,ill be there as soon as i get off work!!
