need help choosing a really good spl sub

With that power I would do something like 4 15" BL's or LVL4's, however if you got 8K, then I would say 4 15" LVL4 XL's, or 4 15" AQ HDC3's, or you could always split the 5K between 2 21" Incriminator Audio Death Penaltys.

You know 6 DDZ12's will cost... umm... ~12 thousand dollars? And to run them properly you would need about, hmm, 30 thousand watts.

No point running 6 BTLs on 5kw either. 6 SSDs would be a much better match. Or 6 DD2512's. Until you're going to run 5kw PER SUB then don't bother with the super high-end SPL subs. They're made to run with a lot of power.

yeah ive been looking at the options and theres a lot of good ones. im just doing a lot of research righ now but everyone has given me a lot of new good info. thanks guys and if you have any more choices throw them out there cuz im all ears.

try looking into mach 5 spl series. I have heard them get extremely loud.

I haven't played my SPL-12s yet but I've gotten great customer service from Mach 5. I'd buy from them again without question.
