i don't think they are illegal but im not 100% sure. there are a few guys with walls in tc and to my knowledge non of them have ever been pulled over or ticketed for having them.

dam, maybe i will postpone my trip to calhoun for a couple of weeks. theres enough bad shit up north, i sure as heck dont want to run into that stuff down there.

ive got one hooked to a 12w7 and it slams. my birth sheet reads 1084 watts RMS at 2 ohms. i also had a power 500.1 BD that put out 645 watts. they truly are underrated but it is power hungry as well, but i got lucky cuz my caddy handles it quite well

if you did have the chance to get rims that were the same pattern i would. adapters are ok but ive never really liked he fact that you have to bolt them to your stock lugs and then to the rim, it doesnt seam as safe to me as using the same bolt patten. not saying the adapter would break or anything, i just prefer not to use them

i was going to watch it but hooters was packed . i was rooting for evans, hes an MSU guy and thats my favorite team, plus hes only lost once.

that sucks to hear man. iv been thru it both suspended and restricted for the last 3 years and they are no fun. i just got my full license back. at the shop i used to work at a shop were 3 guys had suspended licenses. one guy was 6 years another was 8 years and the longest was more then 15 years. i dont know how they can stand not driving. but the rest or your time will fly by. you'll be driving in no time

thats what im gonna do is replace the basket, as long as i can get one. i gotta get ahold of soundstream tomorrow. and i will be getting the price on a recone as well. it will be just like new, hopefully. i filed a claim with ups on friday night so im hoping it doesnt take them forever and 3 years to get me the money.

yeah it was insured for $600. im just hoping i can find a recone kit cause i got a hold of soundstream and they were all out. guess i need to check caco and caraudio.com unless someone on here has one.

ok, thats good to know. its steel. that thing is a beast. now that i know i can weld it thats a lot better, i used to work in a welding shop.ill just have to find someone with a recone kit.

im gonna get pics up later, i would have them but it was really dark and couldnt get a good shot. i know right now soundstream is outta recones cuz i asked them earlier this week and that sux but ill post pics and see what you guys recommend.

ok, i just got my soundstream XXX 18 in today. i ordered it off of caco. i pull this massive thing out of the box and i realize the F***in basket is broken near the surround in 2 different places. and the box it came in is also smashed right where its broken, it had insurance on it so thats a good thing. my ? is does anyone know if that basket can be fixed. i can get pics up later today and im gonna get ahold of soundstream and see what they say but i just wondered if its reparable or if its junk. any advice is needed. thanks guys
