If you are just looking for something that is loud for a computer setup run one of the logi tech setups and just replace their sub with a down firing 12 or something

I used to have 2 xXx 12's in my truck and it sounded like someone banging on cans behind me, they were free though lol

i've lowered it down to those 3.

if i do XXX, i'll just be running a 1200W amp of theirs.

lol. well the thing is, i'd like to have a bunch of cone area. that's what i'm going for. like i said, mostly looks. spend like $200 on 4 15"s and like $100 on a amp. but i take that as no xXx then? lol

Well its not just cone area alone but it does make a difference. Quality is a big part of it too though.

Like 4 of those 15's wouldn't stand up to 4 15's of a quality company like kickers DC or FI

but i get where your comin from im on a budget myself but i just put 2 memphis PR 12's and an SPL 2 channel amp in my truck on the cheap it was around 300 for the whole setup. I say save a little man and dont get to anxious to spend your money.

ok so i remembered i was looking through the build logs and found this. Its only a 12 but for the price man they are good subs. Much better than the ones your looking at imo

yea, i'm doing a van setup with those. i'm gonna start working on that soon and do the room setup after that. but why save up for my room? like i said, mostly looks. i could care less if it sounded like poo. but cone area, in most cases is louder. but alot depends on the brand and box. you could make 2 DD 8's louder, probably from box. i can make 2 DD 8's sound like shit from box. looks is what i'm going for. i'm picking one of those brands and that's it. i thank you wildcard for helping, but i do not like you boon. in fact, you said you'd make a box for me if i didn't use bandpass and you haven't so i'm not going to listen to you at all. looks is what i'm going for. i have picked 3 brands. i'm going with one of them and probably a 2K watt amp. xXx is more then likely out of the question but the other 2 are still in.

if one of you guys would please give me an opinion on one of those two, it would be great. thanks in advance.

I'm terribly sorry. I just don't waste my time on DREAMERS. Where's this baller money you had coming, the huge truck build, blah blah blah. Basically you just waste everyone's time with your bullshit questions about stuff that's never going to happen. Sorry to be an absolute cunt but I'm calling you out on this.

I don't have any problems with a 16 year old hanging around the forums trying to learn a bit until they can do something proper but it's all just such BS. I bet this build in this thread never happens. Even some pics of this build you're doing in this van would give you a little bit of credit but let's be honest - talk's cheap. Cheaper than awful subwoofers.

what about some pics? this BIG truck build was a thing i had in my mind a long time ago. i've come down from there since then. for now, i have my plan. and as for pics.......

good enough for you? or is there something else you'd like to complain about? and let me just state that i'll get a pic of the MDF i have sitting in my garage if you'd like a pic of that too. so would you like to say anymore about this build or are you about done? and like i care if people laugh. i'm building it for looks and idc what anyone says. so i won't ask anymore questions about it. screw it. i'll do what i want when i want. rebel? NO! get it through your head that i have limited money, and i want something just to sound okay but looks cool.
