Getting Metered?

Well, I'm hoping to get my stereo in my truck minus the door speakers and stuff by the 22nd of September.

We will be in our new house then, and thats the date I take my road test to go from a permit to a GDL, so I can drive by myself.

I have found a Term-Lab here in my city. Guy at the counter said it shouldn't cost anything to meter it, they'd just have to set it up..

Is there any certain way to meter it? I know theres like Outlaw and such..

I'd like to have a legal score.

Any pointers at all would be great.. I've never had anything metered before..

depends theres diferent competing sanctions with different rules so you could maybe do one with the meter in the kick with window down or door open and on the dash with it sealed up so youd would have an idea where its at
