z71kris Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 I have had friends do the power with a battery chager hooked up to a battery, then to the amp, with the remote looped to the power line, and then for the the most ghetto and easyest way it to get a headphone jack splitter to hook up the original speakers to, and then a 2.5m jack to rca line to hook up to your amp. Head phone spliter battery charger dry cell battery thats just how I have seen it done in home in the past, the only problem I see is I dont know how many volts your RCAs will get to the amp! hotshot27 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 i used a 1000 watt computer PSU and just wired it to my amp. ran my 600 watts rms just great, i used a fuse just in case, but no battery. by the way, my electric bill took a small jump.
