6kW, 16 cubes, sub choices for daily?

Recommended Posts

if you go the hdc3 route, with 2k and under, go with the copper coils, they will sound better. Forget that 1000rms rating on the copper/aluminum hdc3 ratings, DJ suggests 2000watts or under go copper, and aluminum for over 2500watts.

I love my staffie :good:

So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny

(2) AA Mayhem 18" or (2) Fi BTL 18"

Or wait and get (2) SMD 18".

Do you have 16 cuft gross, or net? If gross, you need quite a bit of room for the port and driver displacement. If that is net, what is the port displacement and tuning?

Guys because this is more or less a ground pounder I'm leaning towards running more smaller subs. Like (8) Sundown SA-12s...

What would be the sound/performance difference between doing this, or running two beastly Mayhems or alum HDC3s?
