Hey Guys, i've recently bought a kicker ZX350.4 four channel amp, nothing special but it keeps me happy for the moment. Anyways everytime i change songs or turn the volume off i get a pop through my speakers, i cant work out what to do to stop this and i've been mucking around with it for a while but still no good, any thoughts or suggestions?

My Set-up ATM. [Well my first]

HU: Kenwood MP543U.

Amps: 2 x Kenwood KAC 8104D @ 2 ohm - 1000Rms + Kicker ZX350.4 Channel @ 4 ohm - 60Rms x 4.

Subs: 2 x Kenwood 12" W3012 Dual Coil @ 2 ohm - 800Rms.

Highs & Mids: Front: 2 x Rockford Fosgate 6" 3 ways - Rear: 2 x Clarion 6" 3 ways [Yeah mixed bag atm lol gotta save$$$]

Batt: 610 CCA.

Alt: 150 Amps.

Cap: Soundstream 4 Farad.

Wiring: 4 AWG from batt, 4 AWG from cap to amps, 8 AWG ground - 16 AWG speaker wire all round.

or maybe really high gain like everything on the maxx .my friends system did that and he always had the gain high

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

Yea, I ran a new 8 AWG ground from the HU to the body and it eliminated the pop completely.

Yea that should help, im only runnin mine at half and it's plenty loud 4 me atm anyways, bass is where im at lol... and also check ya HU ground dude cause you'd be surprised how much pop and noise interference a decent HU ground will cut out, as i found. I also ring terminal'ed up some wire and grounded the rcas to the back of the HU aswell cause i was having issues there too, and that helped a bit. Damn you interference!
