I already have some of the equipment that will be needed to do this install, but I need some help deciding which way to go for the remaining pieces of this car audio puzzle. Below is a list combining the equipment I have, with the equipment I'm thinking of getting. What ever equipment I decide to go with will be going into an 09 Mazda3i.

Head Unit:

- Eclipse CD5030 (do not have)

http://www.woofersetc.com/p8165/CD5030--Ec...-Technology.htm

Front Stage:

- Rockford Fosgate P1682S (do not have)

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=14402

Rear Doors:

- Keeping stock for now

Component Amp:

- Kicker 08ZX200.2 (do not have)

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=20098

Subwoofer and Enclosure:

- Audioque HDC315 D2 copper coils (have)

- Fisher Customs built 4.5cu^3 after displacement tuned to 38hz (have)

Sub Amp:

- Audioque 2200D (have)

I have plenty of 0/1 wire to do the big3 and run from front battery to amp or rear batt/s My question here is how much electrical do I need to supply the current demand of the above amp without dipping below 13v on music? I know the rating on the amp is 200A, but I've heard that you won't get close to maximum draw unless playing sine waves? I'm probably going with a Kinetik KHC1400 up front, but I'm not too sure after that. If the price of batteries gets to high, I might just say fuck it and go with a DC Power 220A alt with an MLA module if one is available.

Also, I was thinking of box placement being sub forward/port foward on drivers side sealed from the trunk. Now, my question here would be is this the best placement for daily beating where it will be loud to the ear, or would you recommend a different placement?

Thank you for taking the time for reading my somewhat long post and for any advice you folks may have. :DB)

od get better comp set but everything else looks good together

What would you suggest? I'm kind of limited to 6x8 or 5x7. I've seen brakets available to fit a 5.25" but I'm not sure how hard that would be to install.

Well, I just ordered a trunk pack of SS damplifier pro, Eclipse 5030 w/ipod cable and a stinger voltmeter.

Still needing opinions on comps and waiting for an email from XS to determine what battery will fit up front.

After that, everything will be ordered and hopefully installed within the next month or so. :)

Can anyone verify that this is correct? Can I use 5.25" comps in my doors?

Well, for anyone that cares, here is the semi-final equipment list that will be getting installed.

Head Unit:

Eclipse 5030/w ipod cable

Front Stage:

Alpine Type-r 5.25" comps

Kicker 08ZX200.4(going to be bridged @ 4ohms)

Rear doors will be left stock

Substage:

AudioQue HDC315 D2 with copper coils

Fisher Customs 4.5cu/ft box tuned to 38hz

AudioQue 2200D wired to 1ohm

(I will most likely go with a rear firing setup since that seems to be the loudest box position next to sealing off the trunk and facing box/port forward)

Electrical:

Stock 90-100A alternator

1 run of 0/1 from front to rear battery, all the rest of the wire for the substage will be 0/1

XS Power S1200 starting battery

XS Power D1200 rear battery

Will be doing the Big3 as well

Other shit:

20 sq/ft of Damplifier Pro for the trunk. Will use the remaining for the front doors around comps.

Stinger voltmeter(red)

Does this setup look like it will get loud/sound good on music?
