bigbodylexus
Okay I was pulling out my old setup so I can start the tear down process, and I looked at my old Memphis PR-1000D amp, I never paid much attention before but I realized this thing has (4) 40 amp fuses, why? this thing is only rated at 1000 watts, I never blew the fuses so this is what came from the factory, I still have the little baggie with the spare fuses that came in the box. Now if I'm correct at 80% efficiency (just a guess because I really don't know the specs) this thing should put out around 1500 watts on 12 volts but I know it doesn't. So why would they use 40 amp fuses? This is not the newer model, I bought this one on 2005. 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass
