J00bles Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 the motor and basket and all of the wires and such are taking up a small volume of the enclosure. invert the sub and all of those small deducting values are removed. the box will be bigger, and tuning will change. probably not much though, maybe a .3 hertz change. tacomabanga1986 Posted September 16, 2009 Report Posted September 16, 2009 ya, it will afect tuneing due to when you tuned the box it was built with the subs motor distplacement witch with an inverted sub it will take that out of equasion n might sound a lil diff but not to much, i did an install for 2 soundstream 10's ina sealed box inverted n it played really good on everything, but ied try it n see how it sounds, u dont halfto reverse polarity for it to work right, ied just keep it pos to pos n neg to neg n u should be good Quote here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit
