When strapping two amps.....

Recommended Posts

Well I kept getting a horrible engine noise thru the subs with the amps strapped. I tried 3 different brands of rca cables with no luck. So I just wired one sub to each amp at 0.5 ohm. No problems at all everything works fine....This is all I have to say! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/hairtrick.gif

It just sucks that i have to use 2 remote gains.

If the 3500s are like the 3000s, the amps will do more power without the remote knob.

Just an idea to try, then just control your amps volume with the subwoofer control on your headunit, or buy the pac lc1 and control the amps volume with that. It plugs into your RCA cords and has a rca input and output.

Get a y-splitter for telephone line.

Well i tried the Y-Splitter and no luck with that. I hooked it up and as soon as i turned the knob on the remote the subs made some popping sounds and the amps went into protect. So i killed power and unhooked it. Do you think any damage could have occurred from that?
