VistaV6 Posted September 17, 2009 Report Share Posted September 17, 2009 So 2 things guys....got my stinger volt meter from Darvex (amazing shipping and processing speed) and I got some 12 volt cig liter plugs from parts express.....Could someone tell me how I need to hook the thing up, I know it can be done. Second, got a terminal cup but it is too small for the wire I have, I have 2 options...bore a hole for the wire and caulk it up or something...or use bolts like I have seen you guys do....which do you guys suggest, and also, what kind of bolts/nuts should I use? Boon Posted September 18, 2009 Report Share Posted September 18, 2009 Use brass bolts. Make sure the connection on your lugs is up to par or it's a complete waste of time. Or stick some 8ga straight through the wall of the box, put some goo in the holes first then shove the wire through it to make sure you have a good seal. 10.x volts fo' life!
