Multiple Alternatros

Recommended Posts

I know you can run multiple alternators with a baracket and longer belt. Check. We got that.

If I want to run 3 different alts, can I run say Ohio Generator as a replacement for my stock alt and then 2 DC Audio alts on a baracket for my audio alt?

You can mix and match any alts as long as the voltage is the same.

What if one is for the stock (so say 14 volts) and 2 others for the Audio ONLY are 16 V...........Only parts interconnecting them is maybe shared grounds and the belt............still no dice?

woa, tripple post.

yes, you can do that. one can charge the front batt at 14v and the other 2 can charge the back batts at 16v.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Oh ya.... depending on your amps you may want to turn them on with either 12v or 16v. Some amps freak out with high voltage or a voltage from a differnet source.

Voltage from a different source?

Ok that statement lost me a bit Dom.
