Do you want it high or low? & is it related to port noise? Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. Currently under the knife being bagged Rebuilding err'thang

So would you be saying that less vent mach would be a better thing? iv been playing on WinISD & I have 2 different boxes I might build, but can only really afford one at a time. One has .16, the other has .08, in your opinion which would be a better box? BBP6 uses ft/sec. yeah, iv been thinking about getting bbp6 I just havent. im conteplating just building one of these boxes & seeing what happens. Im going to build them regardless so ill try it & we will see. aznboi3644 Posted September 20, 2009 Report Posted September 20, 2009 just change the settings to feet per second...usually i go with anything under 100 ft per sec. Depends on the design though.
Boon Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Too low vent velocity indicates the vent isn't actually acting as a resonance chamber, more like just a hole in the box. 10.x volts fo' life!
