Will say i can't wait to see what it turns into. I'm gonna round out the original. It was pretty ugly. It's gonna look like it's a piece of the truck. o ok nice, how does iy secure to the truck? I have no idea yet. I'm looking into it, but it needs to be removable (all of it). I'm thinking round it around the top of the door down into the inside a few mm and do the same around the rest. Then use some sort of adhesive to secure it. I'm thinking as I go. EDIT: the filler panel for the mirror will probably be friction locked into place. I plan on puttng on 2 more layers before I take it off. I'm kinda hoping the mirror part turns out pretty good. I'm kinda nervous. And I would like to thank GP2K2 (Tim-may) for this. Cavzilla made me wanta replace them. 1992Chevy K1500
to be honest........... I HATE those wind-guard things........... BUT i can appreciate the work!! There very useful on a hot day when you go in someplace. You can roll your windows down a little (1/4") and no one knows. But yeah, they are ugly. I didn't get much done today, just cleaned it up and got it ready for the next coat of resin. It's very wet (dam rain :censored: ). Thanks for the comment though. I should get another layer on tomorrow.
