Im plan on putting in a t40001bd with two fi btl 15's in my car but am not sure of what electrial upgrades im going to need. I have already done the big 3 with 1/0 wire under the hood. So what size alternator am i going to need, do i need extra batteries, or do i need any caps. I want to make sure that my volts aren't dropping so the amp wont shut off and i dont want my headlights to dim either. Can anybody help?

For that amp I would recommend atleast a 200amp alt (or the biggest you can get for your car) and 2 hc2400 or d3100 and a good under hood battery. You may be able to get away with less....but myself I prefer to have overkill...

As far as headlights dimming they are gonna dim regardless of voltage drop.....halogen bulbs are an unregulated (the more voltage you feed them the brighter they are) just how much they dim is dependant on voltage drop....get some HIDs to save your headlights from dimming.

You will also want to ground all of the batteries and the amp. The easiest way is to ground each battery seperatly.
