DylanH Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 I was just wondering if anyone had this amp and had the actual ratings on it because on the description of it it says The KAC-9104D Class D Mono Power amplifier cranks out mega doses of power in a much smaller chassis size (30% smaller than previous models), so it's more adaptable to tight spaces like under seats or in trunks. The KAC-9104D also has a Dual Mono Drive connection that allows you to strap two KAC-9104D amps together to power a single subwoofer—that’s 1800 Watts of power! Great amp. its 900wRMS rated 1800w PEAK. It is a bit overrated. But for the money you cant go wrong. I got one FS if youre interested in it, only put it in this march, pulled it outta the old car about 2 months ago. (borrowed an old RF amp from a buddy for a lil while, and then sold the blazer). From what ive heard the amp doesnt necessarily like a 1 ohm load that much. 2 ohms is not a problem tho. It will make damn near 900w at 2 ohms.
