Looking for a good 4" component set

Recommended Posts

Im looking for a 4" component set to put the midbass in my dash and the tweets in my a-pillar. Wanted to see what you guys thought some good sets were.

Here's a few I found and want feedback on. Feel free to suggest others.

Rainbow SLX210

Alpine SPX-107R

MB Quart PVI210

CDT CL-41/25 Pro classic

Budget is $200 or less. I'd like feedback on the above and welcome any and all suggestions.

Also would it be easier to piece my own component set, i.e. find a good 4" midbass and a good 1" silk dome tweeter? I plan on running my setup active.

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.

ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

I've heard both the Alpine and the MB Quarts that your looking at. If it were me I'd probably give the CDT's a try though. I've heard great stuff about them and have wanted to give them a try sometime soon. I may try to pick up a pair for the Q Logic kicks that I'm getting.

my cdt's are rated at 160 rms, I have them hooked up to a 4 channel rated at 70x4, the move pretty good. i also blew my crossovers up from too much power, gain to high lol. and they were game to ship me a new set out. totally my fault, but they let it slide!

the kp2's are really nice but they are pricey. I liked my mtx tx4001's they dont handle a ton of power maybe 60 to 75 rma but they get loud as crap.
