Sanitarium Posted November 25, 2009 Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 (edited) changing dns isn't working for me. hell i did a remote dns lookup of the ip address and tried pinging that and it wouldn't work. switched to static dns servers in my router. nothing. Sanitarium Posted November 26, 2009 Report Share Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) Turns out it was the firmware for my router, was using dd-wrt. switched to openwrt and fixed it. edit: turns out to be an MTU issue as pointed out by a guy (nick brain0 ) on irc.freenode.net #archlinux. Yet another reason to love the power of the internet . easy access to smarter people then you.
