harrisonG Posted September 26, 2009 Report Share Posted September 26, 2009 well i decided i am going to be getting a DC lvl 4 12 hopefully within the next week which i am pairing with an AQ1200. right now i am working on a box idea, but since i am at college i dont really have all the resources in my dorm room to make a box so i was talking to a close custom shop about building me a box for a reasonable price. ive never used a ported box, but as for size i was thinking 1.5 cuft tuned to 38hz? will that work well? right now im using a 12 inch type r in a sealed prefab box. what are your guys opinions? Tuning is tuning. you can tune any sized box to anything. I mean, you can tune a 10 in a 1 cube box to 33 or lower if you wanted to.
