well my new DC LVL 4 with LVL 5 coils just came in yesterday and boy does it pound. however i have a fair amount of free time this summer and i would like to give a go at my first box build. right now the box is about 2cuft tuned to 38hz, i want to hit those low notes so i was thinking of a box maybe 2.5-3cuft tuned to 33hz? anyone have dimensions or anything theyd wanna help me out with ive never done any of this and dont really have any idea how to go about doing it the right way

so audibly itll be the same, itll handle the power better, so it should most likely not make any smell at all?

first of all i want to compliment the great customer service that DC has. the woman Anna i believe her name is, is very nice, and super helpful. she gave me a very fair price on the recone and upgrade. now to the point. im running an aq1200 with just one dc lvl4 12. with the lvl 5 coils will i hear a difference, or will the the sub just be able to handle the power better than it did before?

by D- Leads does that mean if only the lead burnt out and the cone itself is fine, that itll only cost 20?

i searched around and couldnt really find any answers, and seeing that its the weekend DC isnt open... so my question is, does anyone know how much it costs to get it reconed? a tinsel lead burnt all the way though on one of the voice coils and id prefer to get it reconed if it is cheaper than going new... if not im probably just going to buy and hdc3 thanks for your help

yeah... its 29.99 with a plan. the full retail value of the phone is still over 300 dollars and thats what youd have to pay for it if you wanted a new phone in the middle of the plan. so 110 is more then fair. everytime i try to sell a phone this same argument arises. if you switch a phone in the middle of your plan you dont pay the 29.99 or whatever you pay full retail

i mean im open to offers. its completely new except the battery cover on back is a little scratched cause they dont give you a new one.

this is a brand new curve i received through insurance but i got a new tour so i dont need it. its a refurbished one from verizons insurance so its legit still has the stickers on it, ill throw in a case and screen protector. comes with battery and charger.

im not at super ground pound status but i was on full tilt next to my room mates car and the remote for his HU was shaking on his dash from my car, we were parked a good 4 feet apart, but im not sure if that counts as ground pounder status

i had a reference 12 and it sounded pretty damn good. dont kill it with power though because itll blow fast they cant handle much over rated at least with my experience. i have kappa 6x9s and reference comps in my front doors and the speakers sound great. i say like above if the price is good go for it, i got my sub for like 60 bucks so i wasnt too pissed when it blew, but it did get loud

if other teams could afford/ justify it they would buy good players also. i dont like when people say that they are only good because they buy their team, because thats basically what baseball is about of course after the actual games and athleticism. you want to make the best team possible, and if you can afford it then go with it. the yankees deserved to win. if they lost after all of those pathetic errors that the angels made they would have been an absolute disgrace. its actually a little upsetting that they beat the red sox and then had such a terrible performance against the yankees regardless of the series lasting til game 6. just my two cents.

i was just running that same setup, but in a sealed box and it slammed, its in my room mates mustang now and it sounds so damn good, its definitely a sick sounding setup and it will definitely pound if the box is right
