I beleive most 98xx (9813, 9815, 9833,9835, 9853-57, 9874, 9881-9887 these i know for sure) models can do this, theres a few 78xx models Quote AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! I know my old alpine 9813 had a "power IC" option on the menu that would turn off the internal amp x2 as other people stated, this is the same with my Clarion In-Dash, you can turn off the internal amp.
