HU's WITHOUT built in amps?

Almost all decent Alpine decks have the option to turn off the internal amp. I beleive most 98xx (9813, 9815, 9833,9835, 9853-57, 9874, 9881-9887 these i know for sure) models can do this, theres a few 78xx models

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

some of the higher end sony decks, like the early 2000 models that retailed for 800+. i have a higher end version of those :)

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0

touche, but most HU's have a way of turning the internal amp off if you're not using it. I know my old alpine 9813 had a "power IC" option on the menu that would turn off the internal amp

x2 as other people stated, this is the same with my Clarion In-Dash, you can turn off the internal amp.
