I don't remember if I told you before but I have 12" midbasses in the front doors. hint hint. That sucks about the DC Power Alternator. Mine has broken twice since october in that same place. I am told by Rob that they are redesigning the case. Freshman6969 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Share Posted January 31, 2011 he had a blown coil and the amp kept seeing a short causing it to go into protect we were testing and it his score kept going down and down and his amps kept going into protect faster til they wouldnt come out...i hooked up a DMM and found out he had a dead coil so but at least we figged it out...i told him switch to DC haha ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! that was the last idea in the back of my head, figured something was grounding out or his voltage was too low, oh wells! and he should get some DC's i think theyd go better with the wall Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Why would you EVER WANT flex?huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct? Te exhaust valve or some shit is stuck so my car is sitting in the driveway. Monday me and my dad are gonna try and fix it/replace it. So I'm not buying the recone until my car actually runs right. When I was down in DE with leon and nick I noticed my alt was cracked again so I'm waiting on DC power to redesign the case so I should be getting a replacement soon. I miss the bass :-( On a brighter note, n8ball is letting mr borrow his scope. So wen errthang is ready to roll I'll be ready to ROCK!!! And if for some IMPOSSIBLE CRAZY UNBELIEVABLE IMPOSSIBLE reason I switch out my subs. It will be for some tsns :-) I'm not saying DCs don't perform but it's either DD OR DC at the shows. I like to add some variety lol And Chris you did things to an amp and sub that should never be done. I'm surprised nobody said you looked like JP lmao.
