ChevyBoy Posted April 27, 2007 Report Share Posted April 27, 2007 you shouldnt have anything really at max. do you experience your subs bottoming out at all? i was told every 1/4 turn on the bass boost makes the amp work twice as hard. back when i didnt know any better, i did the same and my amp went into thermal protection because it got so hot from the bass boost being all the way up. Well i'll turn it down then lol.. atleast put it half way and see how it sounds lol.
