going deaf Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 i honestly dont know the tuning of my box, i was very UNknowldeged when i built the box.. it was first box.. its ok, but still sucks.. I've stated before i cant turn bass up on HU, it makes components sound horrible. I'll turn the bass boost down half way, and the tuning well i dont know where i should set it since i dont know the tuning of the box so i put it in the middle.. lol when you say "i cant turn bass up on HU" are you talking about a "bass boost/eq" setting? because turning that up will make your components distort, but the "sub level" adjusts just that; the sub. i'm not too familiar with alpine head units maybe they don't have a separete sub level, i have a premier myself... noobs kthnxbi Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I picked up that unit about a month ago for 69 bucks. And i really like it so far. AlpineGuy87 Posted April 29, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2007 Yea i know how to operate the alpine lol, had it for almost 2 years lol. there is bass, treble, subwoofer, then i have in the setup section.. System 1 or System 2 (one is actually louder than the other, gives more bass) bass, bass frequency (Bass set at -5, freq. 100hz) treble, treble frequency (Treble set at +7 freq. thing 12.5 i think.. ) Subwoofer Level ( I have it set at +15) Bass EQ - settings 0, 1, 2 or 3 ( I set it on 1 cuz it makes everything louder, even treble) There is so many things you can adjust on there its really a nice head unit but it makes it difficult to fine tune cuz of all the settings.. lol The coolest thing on there is..
