Just goto a local shop and ask them if you could get a resistor pack. Most installers have hundreds of them laying around.

What values does radioshack have? there should be enough combinations that you can make that value. It doesn't have to be one resistor.

What watt (1/2, 1/4, 1/8 or what)?

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

Resistor packs are like 5 bucks. Then you'll have some other resistances for other vehicles. I usually use a PLJX for the install, zero problems.

went to the stereo shop today. they use 1/4 watt which isnt a problem for me and they do this stuff all day. anyway my boy grabbed the box and it was filled with resistors bagged up. he gives me a pack and says is that it. im like ya, had exactly 9.53 on the pack which i needed. he said how many, i said 1, so he opened it up and just gave me one. NO CHARGE FTW
