dadillac27
I just was at my local flea market and the last stand a dude had 2 cvr 12's for 150 and 2 atomic 12's and a Lanzar Optidrive 2500 for $75. Im looking for something for my girls intrepid so I bought the atomics and the optidrive. I got home and looked up the optidrive and now I know I got a pretty good deal but I dont know shit about Atomics. Are they any good. There in a cheesy bandpass...would they be better in sealed or ported? I went on ROE.com/ampguts and looked up the lanzar and it puts out 1000 watts at 4 ohms bridged!!!!! What do you guys think of my deal....2 atomic 12's and a Lanzar Optidrive 2500 for $75. Marlo Stanfield
If they both work then u got a hell of a deal, but I'm pretty sure those were the lowest line subs atomic made. raytard
that lanzar is maybe good for like 1000 watts, and is that 8g? and those are REALLY old atomics. 75 seems cool so long as everything works, enjoy the decade+ old used stuff. dadillac27
yes thats 8 gauge and im sure its not big enough ROE says fuse at 160amps so im sure it needs at least 4 gauge....i kinda figured the amp was worth 75 so the subs were threw in. The amps in great shape all but for a couple of scuffs and i already hooked it up and it works so does the subs. Just get 1/0ga to be safe, it's worth the little extra $$ without question. Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud...
