meade916
Ok so the seat bracket kit for the MOMO seats shows up and naturally its not working......yet another setback. We decided to deal with it later and got back on last nites stuff. Lots of mud, lots of sanding.....man where does the time go. My boy Jeff rippin it up on the vent. Its his first one and he didnt dissapoint. He suggested where to put the digital box, i said cool, showed him how, and he went to town. BTW someone asked me who Jeff is......he is my oldest closest buddy, im 34 and ive known him almost 28 of those years. You can say hes partly responsible for the things i do because when we were little he gave me his hammy-down record player and speakers. Ever since then ive been hooked on hookin stuff up. Anyway heres what we did. "roughed in" in case you forgot whats being molded in the old vent, it is this More of teh roughness Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
Ok so i sat around for a minute and was tryin' to relax.....but sitting still isnt my style. My buddy Sean B, who is the one who gave me the new alarm, called me up and said "WATTTUP want me to put that alamr in" I was like ummmm hell ya! So i decide to let him go to town while i got busy trying to get these MOMO seats to fit my car. Its gonna take some serious fabricating but i gotta plan Now that is just some 20GA Stainless Steel i had laying around and its only for a mock-up. After i know it works ill make the real one out of steel and weld it in place. It was real tricky taking the stock brackets and the assemblys that make it roll apart. I think its gonna work perfect. meade916
these pics may be slightly boring but they are part of the build so ill post them. When you buy stuff thats supposed to fit your car and it doesnt, you can return what you bought or make it work. I dont have time to wait for these fools to find me the right brackets so this will be a mixture of new and old to make these seats work. The stock brackets needed to be seperated from its rolling mechanism. The metal "rollers" needed to be removed so i could seperate these two pieces and get the "core" that i was after. Grind a hole and punch it thru the side, that'll work! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
