Fuses, breakers, ring terminals, etc. 3. alt too weak in relation to current draw 4. ground in a bad spot 5. too many connections from current source to load. The list goes on and on.. tejcurrent Posted October 14, 2009 Report Share Posted October 14, 2009 You're drawing somewhere between 3-400a of current to power things fully. Your alternator is not big enough, you need more batteries or alternator power, or both. Also your power wire isn't helping things. For 300a+ I would upgrade to 1/0, and even just buy a spool and do 2 runs of both + and - if possible. Good luck.
