Have a 9851 alpine hu that works great, always favored alpine but was wondering what causes the sound quality to change so much at volume level 23. 1-22 have bass and great sound but anything above that cuts the bass quite a bit. Still gets louder but not as clear as below 23. Doesnt matter whether the speakers are driven off deck power or amplified. ????any ideas????
