skittlesRgood Posted October 18, 2009 Report Share Posted October 18, 2009 cut some 4 inch pvc pipe with a chop saw and let me know how loud that router is...never in my life have a heard a noise so loud and irritating oh god... my friend forgot the earmuffs. turned on that saw and got scared from the loud noise. threw the blade down to get it over with faster and that piece of wood BLEW UP. scariest thing ive seen in my shop. Colin - STAPUFT Posted October 18, 2009 Report Share Posted October 18, 2009 Tinnitus is no fun at all. I have just enough of it to remind me to use good sense when doing anything. This doesn't just go for playing your stereo and making cuts in MDF or what have you either. I think my tinnitus is due to mowing grass (despite of the stereo addiction). My ears would hurt for days after I cut lawns... then it was just one day, then it was just a few hours.... and I began to realize that it was because I had less and less to hurt. Now I wear super big over the ear headphones for ANYTHING like that.
