DIY crossovers?

If your 4 channel amp has a decent crossover settings onboard, theres really no need for passive crossovers. Simply run active, run your mids of 2 channels, and your tweeters off the other 2 channels. Just be sure to start with your highpass filter all the way up (perferbly 5000k, with a very low gain, and a mid to high volume level on your headunit), and just go from there.

You wont have any fader control (front to rear), but you will still have balance (left to right).

Yea, you have a better shot of tuning it just right with a processor, but its not needed if you got time to turn dials and get things sounding how you want.

Chances are youll get a more rich fulfilling sound with no processor and running active then using passive crossovers.
