Found a pair of 3-way Yamaha book shelf speakers on clearance for $70 after tax. The douche bag clerk wouldn't hook them up so i could hear them but told me i had 30 days to return them, i said fine sign me up. Brought them home and hooked them up to my Pioneer receiver and HOLY HELL!! I've never heard a 3-way bookshelf speaker sound this good. 8 inch woofer with 3 inch midrange and 1 inch tweeter sounds phenomenal! Even a sealed setup like these slams the bass notes pretty good! The newer models came out but if you have the chance to even just listen to them, the model number is NS-6490.
