This is the same guy that puts tubes as phase plugs in his mid bass drivers claiming that it smooths freq response. The Shoe Maker without shoes! I never did it though, so I don't know how they sound or meter. I have heard other people say that yes, they do play louder than a "regular" box but that they aren't Competition loud.
