More surface area...more effective use of the power...I see where you're going with that. And BTW...I've bumped up the amp to a Hifonics BXi 1601D. If I go with 2 12s. The Fi SSD's or the AA Chaos? That amp is gonna do like 1200-1400w @ 1ohm before rise, just to let u know. Personally I'd run the single 15" Havoc, like accord said they are brutal on the lows.
