And you can just power on the monitor to see if there is a code. If there is a keypad will show asking for 4 digits. If there isnt when it powers on it will look like it keep resting. Im just saying, i use to watch tv in my car when i had the unit but now since everything is digital. Not a big deal but yeah $140 id grab it. Good quality kenwood and its still a TV lol.
