I know its been done so who has some tips? Im looking at doing a center console amp rack for my truck and since the amps are tapered and dome shaped on top i would like to make a plexi bottom possibly edge light it and maybe frost a decal on it. Is there any certain plexi to use? how thick is too thick? how thin is too thin. Please give me some ideas. Also what is the best way to cut it? home depot grade plexi ok? any suggestions are welcome. oh the amps are orion 2500ds and a 8004. only the top amp in the rack will be plexied since they will have to be stacked up.

I have used between 1/4 and 3/4 for stuff like that and the type of lighting you want to do if you want a logo on it you can take it to a sign shop and have them sandblast/etch it on there.
