engines misfiring, help

i recently just fixed a 1998 blazer with the same engine for a misfire...did a tune up and nothing...ran system cleaning machine for hours and still no fix and then finally had to spray a cleaner down the intake, it takes 3 cans to do and cost like 40 bucks for the cleaner and it fixed the misfire

what other engines would fit a 1993 geo prizm 1.6 liter? im trying make it a sleeper since everyone considers it a piece. i would really appriciate some help here. i wanna know what kinda engine would fit the stock motor mounts with out doing any adjusments. or if i do have to do ajustments which engines would fit? thanks

I've owned 3 Blazers in the past year and I pretty much know them inside-and-out. Mine had a multiple random misfire once and it was my fuel injectors because I had ran the fuel pump so low. DON'T RUN THESE THINGS OUT OF GAS. Blazers go through fuel pumps like tampons. I'd check your injectors and if that isn't it, check vacuum lines and stuff like that. You didn't mess around with the intake system at all before this misfire started did you? How many miles does your Blazer have on it?
