I vote no because it takes more than VHT niteshades to make smoked headlights look good (imho) They get that blueish tint to them and look weird, I have the corner lights on my Crown Vic done, but they are BLACK! like 5 coats of VHT, which of course is way too much for headlights.

Because it's a huge truck with a little motor.

There should be some 3/4 or 14/15mm bolts underneath the seat, try unbolting those and see if that works. Never unbolted Ford truck seats but Silverado seats are like that <

steeda ftmfw... I think I'm going to port the airbox on the vic right now just to see if it makes a difference. If not, I have a 99 parts car crown vic with a brand new intake system so I could go back to stock whenever I wanted.

Well now I just bought an '03 Crown Vic P71 with the same motor so I think I'm going to mod that thing first and leave the Expi alone for a little bit. Planning on 4.10's and some tranny work on the cop car with exhaust.

I have the same problem, sorta.. I'm obsessed with cars. Only problem is, I get sick of mine every few months in search for something new. I never know what I want and I fall in love with what I get until I sell it. Same way with systems. I can never decide what I want to do for subs. High amount, low amount, 15"s, 18", ugh.

That's what I was thinking. Because my only regret with buying this Expedition is the fact that it has the 4.6... If it had the 5.4 I wouldn't be complaining. Was hoping to do a few performance mods to bump up the HP but a used 5.4 is about $1200 around here so if it gets to the point where I would need to put that much money into it just in upgrades, I might as well just buy the motor. I can swap it myself. Basically looking to be around 255-265 HP from my current 215-220. Shouldn't be too hard of a task in my opinion. Tune should really do the trick.

Tranny's are a common problem on this bodystyle Taurus. I've replaced a couple of them. Clogged cat could also make it act funny. You may think its the trans but a clogged cat can make the engine stutter weirdly and make it seem like the trans not wanting to go. Smell your exhaust, if it smells like sulfur(like a fart) then the cat is clogged up. Check the tranny fluid again and tell me what the color looks like and what it smells like exactly. If it has a hint of burnt smell at all then your trans could be the culprit. It's tricky to tell what the smell is really like because most Fords use Mercon V which smells like dinosaur shit, and can sometimes smell burnt. But again, let me know.
