bed liner on/in subwoofer box?

i did a quick search didnt find much.....

my question is if you bed liner a box in the inside or out side will it hurt your sound out put at all? maybe loose a few tenths? maybe more port noise? any one ever do any testing ? im tossing around some ideas for my wall and idk what i wanna doo

Definitely think inside is a bad idea due to airflow restrictions but outside is ok.

its in astro it has a rear port and a front port its tuned low for daily and maybe some bassrace but idk if bed liner is a good idea i want it to be all smooth but sucks a pita!
