moose Posted October 28, 2009 Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 I thought Rusty said a while ago that the lvl 3 didn't have enough motor force for an 18" ? me and rusty did some talkin i did some testing with the level 3 18s... i still have them running daily, only upgrade is a second spider was added, i have each one on a sundown 1500 at 1 ohm. they take it No Problem! i love them, they get louder than both me or rusty expected, and dont heat up very quick at all...dont let the appearance of the tiny motor fool you, these things are beast!! i got them just for finals about a month or so ago, but i have kept them in just becuase, and i have done more and more testing with them. moose Posted October 28, 2009 Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 lvl 3 18s pound pretty nice, im not real sure on how loud they are clay's truck threw my hearing off a lil, lol. haha ya thats no kiddin matt. i metered a 147 at 43 hz (30 second average on music) after finishin up the wall, messin with the amps a little and adding the rest of my batts, they are noticeably louder!! i need to meter again to see how it looks on the TL....maybe if i get time tomorrow ill see what i can do!
